It
was mixed feelings for the English clubs in the Champions League as they battle
out their respective opponents in the group stage final matches, three of them
made it through to the knock out stage, while Manchester United paid the price
for their previous lack lustre performance against PSV on both legs and now
have to dropped to the Europa League.
Not
to forget, Leicester has enjoyed a week at the top of the Premier League as
they face the struggling Champions this week.
I
would say that this period of the EPL campaign should be perfect opportunity
for the top clubs to make a big statement on the title credentials, but I will still say
the same next week! Now let's get down to the business of the week.
Norwich vs Everton
(Saturday 12/12/15)
Norwich
was defeated by Watford last weekend with quite big margin. The loss revealed
there are important technical issues that need to be addressed at Carrow Road
if they want to avoid a gradual drop down the log.
Everton
were lucky to rescue a point last weekend. They have been playing interesting
attacking football recently but their away form is questionable as they have
not won away from home since September. Carrow road could be perfect for them
to get their away form back on track.
Tips: It will be a difficult
task to stop the Everton's attacking style at the moment
Predictions: Everton win or draw
Crystal Palace vs
Southampton
(12/12/15)
Crystal
Palace got a draw at Goodison last week and continues to defy my expectations
as they sit in 6th place on the log. Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha will lead the charge of the customized attractive
wing play they have been playing under Pardew.
Southampton
is in risk of slipping down the table if they don't win this weekend. They
haven’t won any of their last 4 matches, including the defeat in the Capital
One Cup to Liverpool.
Tips: I feel It's going to be
a boring game with both sides being to cautious to concede
Predictions: Draw
