Buhari Appoints Engineer Aliyu Abubakar as Director General and CEO of NIMC

The President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari gave a new appointment of the new director general and Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to Engineer Aliyu Aziz Abubakar.

Engineer Aliyu, the new DG was a pioneer staff of NIMC and the director, Information Technology/ National Identity Database department of NIMC before his retirement in 2014. 

He holds a B.Eng in Civil Engineering and M.Sc in Structural Engineering with Specialty in Computer Aided Design from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria.

Boko Haram Suicide Attack in Borno State. Nine People (9) Confirmed Dead!

It has been reported by Sahara that another suicide bomber attack has occurred in Maiduguri, Borno State today killing about nine (9) people.

A local resident and Emergency Management Agency official confirmed that the suicide attack occurred near the Muna garage area of Maiduguri.

The late Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Abubakar Audu has finally been buried yesterday Monday, 23^rd November, 2015 amidst tears and sadness.

Even though some speculated that he rose from the dead which happens to be false news, his remains were buried at about 2pm as Imams offered prayers.

Sympathizers, family and friends were seeing wailing and in a very sad mood as the burial proceeds and a heavy security were deployed at Audu’s compound in Ogbonicha, Kogi State as some of the crowd insisted he was alive.

Men and Women of faith were seen at his compound shouting Holy Ghost fire and Allahu Akbar with the hope of restoring him back to life while others wept loudly by the door.

The former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Madueke had an interview with Ovation Boss, Dele Momodu and said even President Muhammad Buhari as an oil minister (1976-1978) under then head of state, General Olusegun Obasanjo was accused of N2.8 billion fraud when same amount disappeared from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corpration’s (NNPC) Midlands Bank account in the UK.
